Supporting Agencies

Funding has been received from the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, The American Academy of Pediatrics CATCH Grant, and the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina.

 

The Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust was created in 1947 by the will of Mrs. William N. Reynolds of Winston-Salem.  Three-fourths of the Trust’s grants are designated for health-related programs and services across North Carolina and one-fourth for the poor and needy of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.

 

The Community Foundation is a non profit organization established in 1978 to create a permanent pool of charitable capital that will always be available for the 18 counties of Western North Carolina and has been a strong supporter of Graham Children’s Health Services of Toe River over the years.

 

The American Academy of Pediatrics is committed to the attainment of optimal physical, mental and social health and well-being fro all infants, children, adolescents and young adults.  The Community Access To Child Health (CATCH) grants one way they support local communities and projects.

 

Graham Children’s Health Services of Toe River has been an advocate for the community’s health needs since 1997.  The organization is responsible for the creation of the Toe River Dental Clinic, Centro de Enlace, Kid Mountain, Ray-Cort Skate Park and most recently renovation of the Old Burnsville Gym.
